- Entries must be received before the relevant competition closes
- Entries must comply with the instructions on this page and the competition page
How to enter for free
To enter without payment, send a letter or postcard by post. Each letter or postcard counts as one entry only.
Your full name, email address, mobile number, full postal address, competition name, requested number of one free entry, and any required answer or information shown on the competition page.

Important free entry rules
- One letter or postcard equals one entry
- Multiple entries require separate letters or postcards
- Bulk, automated, incomplete, late, damaged, duplicated or unclear entries may be rejected
- Postage costs are the responsibility of the entrant
- Proper Wins is not responsible for delayed, lost, damaged or misdirected post
Equal treatment
Valid paid and valid free entries are treated equally for the relevant competition draw. A valid free entry has the same chance of winning as a valid paid entry for that competition.
Instant win games
Where a product includes instant win style ticket reveals, free entries are still processed according to the instructions for that competition. The method used to allocate or reveal results will be the same fair process applied to eligible entries for that competition.
Age and eligibility checks
We may ask winners to provide proof of identity, age and eligibility before awarding a prize.
